I like using Zoom. My expertise is Business English (12 years experience as a Microsoft consultant); experience in making speeches (previously worked for Bill Clinton in Washington, DC) and I proof-reading experience. I have experience teaching online at Ritsumeikan University (also in person at Kyodai).
My first job teaching Japanese people English was in 1989 as a college tutor.
Since college, I worked for Nike, Bill Clinton, Microsoft, lived in Hawaii and Spain, and finally came to Japan to become a sake brewer in 2013.
My work as a sake brewer has been featured in The New York Times, National Public Radio, The Oregonian, GQ Japan, Nishinippon Shimbun, and NHK World. This work took me to Kysuhu, Gifu, and Ishikawa.
Now I am a teacher and a consultant. I love teaching! After working for some great schools (Kyoto University and Ritsumeikan University), I am looking for my own serious students. I am friendly, kind, patient and will work hard to be a great teacher for you.
